Blues Are The First Football Team To Associate With Jar As Savings Partner
Bengaluru: Jar, India’s Premier Savings App with over 15 million customers pan-India, announced on Wednesday that it had entered into a one-year partnership with Bengaluru Football Club, officially becoming the football club’s ‘Savings Partner’ ahead of the 2023-24 Indian Super League campaign.
Nishchay AG, Co-founder and CEO of Jar, expressed his delight at the partnership. “We’re thrilled to partner with Bengaluru FC as their Savings Partner this season. BFC, like Jar, is an entity that persistently strives for excellence. There are also great parallels between Jar users and Indian football fans: they are aspirational, ambitious and ready for a change. We strongly believe that both India and football in our country are on the cusp of something truly incredible. We’re proud to be with Bengaluru FC at such a time and are excited about the prospect of taking football to the streets of India.”
Jar, as the Blues’ Official Savings Partner, will have a strong presence at Bengaluru FC’s home games at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium. Jar will be running competitions and giveaways in an effort to interact with BFC fans to increase awareness and understanding about savings and personal finance.
“We are pleased to have Jar onboard as our Savings Partner this year. Jar has been consistently working towards increasing financial inclusion by building products that can impact millions of people across the country. We’re looking forward to working with them closely in this regard” said Darren Caldeira, Bengaluru FC’s Director of Football.
“The entire Jar family will be rooting for BFC throughout the Indian Super League season and beyond our partnership,” added Nishchay AG.
Jar’s branding will also be visible on stadium perimeter boards at the games, as well as official Club publications and the Club’s official website. The Blues are set to take on Kerala Blasters in their opening game of the Indian Super League, at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Kochi on September 21.
