The Blues Assistant Coach Spoke Discussed The 2-0 Win Over Jamshedpur
On the win helping in the push for the ACL spot…
Yes, the win does help, and we obviously got the reaction of the guys. It is very tough for us because we always play to win. When we lost two matches, not in a row, but it made it difficult to know how the team is going to react. But we are very proud of all of them because the reaction has been very good. We are fighting to try and be on top of the table for the Champions League spot, but it’s not going to be easy.
On Gurpreet’s performance…
He had a very good match. It was very crucial not just for him, but for the whole team since everyone was putting a lot of effort to win the match.
On Dimas working hard all over the pitch…
Yeah, it was another good match for Dimas. In defence as well as in attack, he has shown everybody that he can play well wherever he wants while helping each other a lot.
On Raphael’s return to the squad…
He has started to train this week. He is trying to be fitter as soon as possible and we hope he will be back.
On if Chhetri worked well down the middle or on the left…
(He can play) Wherever he wants. He is helping us wherever he plays, and he can play on the right, on the left as well, not only in the attack. He is making a lot of effort in defence as well.
On Ashique’s Man of the Match performance…
He has very good qualities and characteristics as a footballer. He has been improving since he has signed with us. We hope that he keeps going on like this and keeps helping us as much as possible.
