Biswa Strike Helps Blue Colts Complete Double Over Rivals
Hyderabad: A Biswa Darjee strike helped Bengaluru FC B bounce back with a 1-0 win over Hyderabad FC B in a sixth-round Hero 2nd Division League encounter rat the Gachibowli Stadium in Hyderabad, on Thursday. The defender’s fourth goal of the campaign helped the Blue Colts to their second win of the campaign.

In what was a closely fought first half, the best chance to open the scoring fell for BFC B’s Player of the Season Leon Augustine in the 23rd minute. Medio Emanuel L won the ball just outside the box before sending Leon through on the right. The winger cut in and took a crack across the face of the goal which brushed the framework and went out.
The second half saw Moosa’s boys dominate possession completely before being eventually rewarded in the 77th minute. Winger Leon won a loose ball near the half line, before beating an opponent and playing a through ball up front between the central defenders. Biswa made a perfect run in from the left to control the before firing a low left-footer into the bottom right corner to seal the win.
The Blue Colts now host Bhawanipore FC in their penultimate home clash at the Bengaluru Football Stadium, on Sunday, March 15th.
