Five Hat-Tricks For Young Blues Who Kick-Off Zonal Campaign With A Bang

Bellary, Karnataka: Macarton Louis Nickson and Elangbam Julenjit Singh scored four goals each as Bengaluru FC cruised to a dominant 20-0 win over Sporthood FC in their Hero Junior League opener at the Vidyanagar Township in Bellary, on Saturday.

In a completely one-sided affair, the Young Blues truck ten goals in each half as they registered the biggest-ever win in the competition so far this season. On a highscoring afternoon, BFC U15’s made most of the chances that fell their way right from the very first minute as they dismantled Sporthood FC to go atop the standings in Group A of the Bengaluru Zone.

While Macarton (36’, 40’, 50’, 61’) and Julenjit (49’, 68’, 75’, 90+1’) scored four goals each, Ajay Chorge’s men had three more players who bagged hat-tricks in Alfred Lalroutsang (2′, 21′, 23′), Damaitphang Lyngdoh (7′, 60′, 69′) and Lalthangliana (19′, 27′, 31′). Meanwhile, Lalhmunmawia FC (11′), Likmabam Rakesh Meitei (53′) and Dhanaraj Y (88′) scored a goal each as the Young Blues sealed a comfortable win.
