Arnav Rakhith Stars For Inventure Academy With Seven Goals In Two Games
Bengaluru: Inventure Academy and Delhi Public School East will face off in the grand final of the Under-14 category in the BOOST BFC Inter-School Soccer Shield after logging impressive wins in the knockout stages at the Bangalore Football Stadium, on Wednesday.
With eight teams fighting it out in the knockouts, it was Inventure who impressed everyone with big wins in both the quarterfinals and the semifinals. While they began with a 5-0 demolition of Baldwins in the last-8, they outplayed The International School Bangalore 6-1 in the last-4 stage thanks to Arnav Rakhith’s remarkable scoring streak. The youngster improved on his hat-trick against Baldwins in the quarterfinal to strike four goals against TISB in the semifinals as Inventure booked their place in the showpiece final.
Up against them, will be DPS East who beat Greenwood High 2-1 in a thrilling affair in the first semifinal of the day. Amogh Gacchi and Aditya Mohan scored the crucial goals for DPS who managed to overcome Suman Dev’s lone strike for Greenwood.
All the finals will be played at the Bangalore Football Stadium on Thursday, 1st February and the line-up is as follows.

U10: Inventure Academy vs. Headstart Educational Academy
Blue Colts win in Nike Premier Cup
Earlier in the day, Bengaluru FC Under-15s logged their first win in the Nike Premier Cup after super-sub Francis Vanlaldika’s 83rd minute winner against SAI Guwahati handed them a 1-0 victory at the Nagoa Panchayat Ground in Goa. The Blue Colts now take on FC Goa on Friday, 2nd February looking to seal a spot in the semifinals.
