Bengaluru FC U15s Go Down 4-5 To DSK Shivajians In Sudden Death
Goa: Bengaluru FC Under-15s suffered heartbreak in the penalty shootout going down 4-5 in sudden death to Pune-based DSK Shivajians in the semifinals of the Nike Premier Cup (U15 Youth League Final Phase) at the Nagoa Panchayat Ground in Goa, on Tuesday.
With both teams failing to find a winner in regulation time, the first semifinal of the day headed to the dreaded penalty shootout. For the Blue Colts, it was Lalhmunmawia FC, Manish Chaudhary, skipper Arkaprabha Das and Aryan Sonowal who managed to find the net from the spot while striker Saikat Das and medio Shreshth Joshi failed to convert.
For DSK Shivajians, it was Rewang Dorjee Lepcha, Sonminthang Haokip, Zamlunmang, Seigoumang Doungel and Mintu Mech who scored in the shootout.
