BFC U15 end zonal phase campaign in Hero Junior League with eight straight wins

Young Blues Down BYFL 3-0 On Final Matchday To Maintain Perfect Record

Bellary: Bengaluru FC finished their campaign with another convincing win as they defeated a ten-man Bangalore Youth Football League side 3-0 in their final zonal phase game in the Hero Junior League at the Vidyanagar Township, in Bellary, on Thursday.

Goals from Lalhmunmawia FC (31’), Alfred Lalroutsang (61’) and Bekey Oram (88’) handed Ajay Chorge’s boys their eighth straight win in the competition. By maintaining their one hundred percent record, the Young Blues who had already sealed a place in the final phase, ended their zonal campaign with 24 points in Group A, eleven ahead of second placed Raman Sports Academy (13 pts).

In their dominant campaign so far, Bengaluru FC have already notched up a few records. They have scored 78 goals, the most in the zonal phase while conceding none, being one of only three teams to still boast a defence that has yet to be breached.

Goalkeeper Dipesh Chauhan has kept the most clean sheets so far in the competition (8) while attacker Lalthangliana leads the scoring charts with 14 strikes to his name, closely followed by his teammate Alfred Laltroutsang in third place with 10 goals.
