Bengaluru FC down Bangalore Youth Football League 4-0 in Hero Junior League

Lyngdoh Bags Hat-Trick As Young Blues Extend Winning Run

Bengaluru: Bengaluru FC secured their seventh straight victory in the Hero Junior League with a comfortable 4-0 win over Bangalore Youth Football League at the Centre for Sports Excellence in Yelahanka, on Monday.

A hat-trick from playmaker Damaitphang Lyngdoh (5’, 43’, 73’) and a late strike from attacker Fredy Chawngthansanga (90+2’) extended the Young Blues’ one hundred per cent record having already sealed top spot in Group A of the Bengaluru zone.

Despite BYFL parking the bus for majority of the game, Ajay Chorge’s boys managed to break them down scoring four goals in an early morning kick off in Yelahanka. In fact, the score took Bengaluru FC’s tally to a record 75 goals with one more game to go in the zonal phase.

Bengaluru FC will end their Zonal Phase with a home fixture against Bangalore Youth Football League in Bellary on May 2.
